Waste Oil Burners Solution for High Heating Costs

Are you aware that you have the ability to heat your entire home, or any building for that matter, with used motor oil?

Many people have no idea that you can do this and yet the potential energy savings is absolutely amazing.  Monthy heating bills can easily be several hundred dollars and if you live in the more northern states of the country you will have more than 2 1/2 or three months of winter.  So the ability to totally eliminate heating bills can really save you alot of money.

You can achieve this by investing in waste oil burners either for your furnace or for your boiler.  This devices make it possible to run your heating system entirely off used waste oil.  Its a novel idea, if you ask me, and its funny because this technology has been around for quite some time.  I used to think it was new but its really not.  Its just grown in its populairty in the last ten to fifteen years.

I found out about this because I owned a mobile oil change business and was having a difficult time getting rid of all the waste oil I was accumulating.  In my peak summertime season I would generated 30-50 gallons of it per day.  A recyling company used to charge me to pick it up but as more businesses got waste oil burners they started getting it for free.  Neverthless, it was a pain as I had my shop next to my home and the truck they used was gigantic, noisey, and they guy never came on time.

Needless to say I ended up buying my own waste oil boiler and I have never looked back.  The entire set up cost me $11,000 with shipping and installation but you can get it for a lot cheaper than me.  I live in Alaska so everything is twice as expensive for these sorts of things.

I have gotten my initial investment back and more.  To make this investment pay off you have to be diligent at filtering all your waste oil and doing your best to minimize any condensation or moisture which can clog up your nozzles.  Its also very important to get an annual tune up if you want your system to run as efficient as possible.

So would you like to heat your home off used motor oil?  I was skeptical at first but its one of the best investments I ever did.  I love getting a heating bill in January and seeing $9(just for the monthy hook up fee).
