How’s forced air gas furnace dry the air coming thru when there’s no direct contact? Where’s that humidity go?
The furnace itself does not dry the air very much. If the unit does not use a sealed vent system, then air is removed from the home during combustion. This is typically warm moist air and is replaced by cooler drier air from the outside. This air enters either from a dedicated combustion air vent or infiltration.
